Regarding our business response following the partial lifting of the "State of Emergency"
Kinkai YusenCo., Ltd., and its group companiesKinkai YusenHokkaido Co., Ltd., Kinkai Yusen Shipping Management Co., Ltd., and Sanyu Co., Ltd. are implementing measures such as teleworking to reduce the risk of infection for all employees in response to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Yesterday (May 14), the government announced the lifting of the state of emergency in most areas, but since the declaration will remain in effect in our main bases in Tokyo, Osaka, and Hokkaido, our company and our group companies will continue the following infection prevention measures until May 31 (Sunday).
- All employees at our four offices - Head Office (Tokyo), Tokyo Branch, Osaka Branch, and Fukuoka Sales Office - and our group company Kinyu Ship Management Co., Ltd. continue to work from home. Only for work that requires coming into the office, we are handling it with a minimum number of staff, taking sufficient infection prevention measures.
- Our other offices, as well as our group companies Kinkai Yusen Hokkaido Co., Ltd. and Sanyu Co., Ltd., have set up shifts to allow employees to work from home, minimizing the number of people in the office and continuing operations.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our business partners and other related parties, and we appreciate your understanding.
