Regarding our business response to partial lifting of the state of emergency declaration
Kinkai Yusen Co., Ltd., our group Kinkai Yusen Hokkaido Co., Ltd., Kinkai Yusen Ship Management Co., Ltd., and Sanyu Co., Ltd. are working from home and other means to reduce the risk of infection damage to all employees due to the spread of COVID-19.
Yesterday (May 14th), the government announced that the state of emergency would be lifted except for some areas, but as the declaration will continue in its main bases, Tokyo, Osaka and Hokkaido, the company and its group companies will continue to take the following infection prevention measures until Sunday, May 31st.
- The four offices of the Head Office (Tokyo), Tokyo Branch, Osaka Branch, and Fukuoka Branch, and the company's Group, Kinyusen Ship Management Co., Ltd., continue to work from home for all employees. We take sufficient infection prevention measures and respond with minimal personnel only for tasks that require us to come to work.
- Other than the above, our company's business offices, Kinkai Yusen Hokkaido Co., Ltd. and Sanyu Co., Ltd. of the Group, have shifted and worked from home, minimizing the number of people working in the office and continuing their work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our business partners and related parties, and we appreciate your understanding.
