Regarding our business response following the nationwide lifting of the "State of Emergency"

Kinkai YusenCo., Ltd., and its group companiesKinkai YusenHokkaido Co., Ltd., Kinkai Yusen Shipping Management Co., Ltd., and Sanyu Co., Ltd. have implemented teleworking and other measures to mitigate the risk of infection for all employees in response to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On Monday, May 25, the government announced the lifting of the state of emergency nationwide, but considering that infection prevention measures are still being recommended, our company and our group companies have decided to maintain the following work system until Sunday, June 14.

  1. All employees at our head office (Tokyo), Tokyo branch, and our group company Kinyu Ship Management Co., Ltd. continue to work from home. Only for work that requires coming into the office, we are handling it with a minimum number of staff, taking sufficient infection prevention measures.
  2. Our three offices, Osaka Branch, Hitachinaka Sales Office, and Tsuruga Sales Office, as well as our group companies Kinkai Yusen Hokkaido Co., Ltd. and Sanyu Co., Ltd., have set up shifts and implemented work-from-home arrangements, reducing the number of people coming into the office and continuing operations.
  3. The three offices, Sendai Sales Office, Fukuoka Sales Office, and Okinawa Office, have returned to normal working hours, taking sufficient precautions to prevent infection.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our business partners and other related parties, and we appreciate your understanding.
