"Tsuruga", "Hokuto", "Marimo", and "Mashiu" have acquired "Inland Sea Ship Energy Saving Rating"
In order to create an investment environment for domestic vessels in energy-saving and CO2-saving facilities, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has begun operating the "Energy-Saving Rating" system, which objectively evaluates the energy-saving and CO2 performance of ships.
In 2017, Hidaka (Tsuruga/Tomakomai Route Operating Vessel) received the highest rating (2017_H_☆☆☆☆) for measures to implement equipment installation and design (hard measures).Four vessels, "Hokuto", "Tsuruga" (Tsuruga/Tomakomai route operated vessels), "Marimo" and "Mashiu" (Hitachinaka/Tomakomai route operated vessels) have recently been certified as the highest rating (2019_H_☆☆☆☆) with the same content as "Hidaka".
We will operate these environmentally friendly vessels with energy-saving and CO2 levels, further contributing to global warming countermeasures.
