The "Tsuruga," "Hokuto," "Marimo," and "Masyu" receive the "Coastal Ship Energy Saving Rating."
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has launched an "Energy Saving Rating" system for coastal ships to objectively evaluate the energy saving and CO2 reduction performance of ships in order to create an environment conducive to investment in energy saving and CO2 reduction equipment for coastal ships
In 2017, our company's "Hidaka" (operating on the Tsuruga/Tomakomai route) received the highest rating (2017_H_☆☆☆☆) for measures based on equipment installation and design (hardware measures).Four ships, "Hokuto" and "Tsuruga" (operating on the Tsuruga/Tomakomai route), "Marimo" and "Masui" (operating on the Hitachinaka/Tomakomai route), have now been certified with the highest rating (2019_H_☆☆☆☆), the same as "Hidaka."
We will continue to operate these environmentally friendly ships, which are energy-efficient and CO2-reducing, and contribute further to combating global warming.
