The new ship "Marimo" has entered service on the Hitachinaka⇔Tomakomai route.
The new RORO ship "Marimo" is a next-generation energy-saving ship equipped with a fully electronically controlled slow-speed main engine, as well as low-friction paint and high-efficiency propellers. It was built by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and made its first port call at Hitachinaka Port on Monday, January 15th, successfully entering service
At the welcome ceremony at Hitachinaka Port, Hitachinaka Mayor Homma presented the ship with a gift for its first port call
