We received a rating from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in the fiscal year 2017 "Energy Saving Rating" system (provisional) for coastal vessels.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) has provisionally launched an "Energy Saving Rating" system for coastal ships, which objectively evaluates the energy saving and CO2 reduction performance of ships, in order to create an environment conducive to investment in energy saving and CO2 reduction equipment for coastal ships.
Our ship "Hidaka" (operating on the Tsuruga/Tomakomai route) has received the highest rating (2017_H_☆☆☆☆) for measures based on equipment installation and design (hardware measures).
The vessel is an environmentally friendly vessel that has made progress in energy conservation and CO2 reduction, and by having shippers and consumers use the vessel, we will further contribute to measures to combat global warming.
