In fiscal 2017, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism received a rating under the "Energy-Saving Rating" System (tentative) from the domestic ship.
In order to create an investment environment for domestic vessels in energy-saving and CO2-saving facilities, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has begun provisional operation of the "Energy-Saving Rating" system, which objectively evaluates the energy-saving and CO2 performance of ships.
Our ship, Hidaka (Tsuruga/Tomakomai Route Operating Vessel) has recently received the highest rating (2017_H_☆☆☆☆) for measures to implement equipment installation and design (hard measures).
This vessel is an environmentally friendly vessel with energy saving and CO2 levels that have been in the past, and by ensuring that shippers and consumers use it, we will further contribute to combating global warming.
