Naming and launching ceremony for new ship "Masyu"

At 11:00 a.m. on October 24th, a new RoRo ship under construction at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.'s Shimonoseki Shipyard was named "Masyu" and a launching ceremony was held without incident.

The state-of-the-art ship will enter service in March next year on the Hitachinaka/Tomakomai route, connecting the Kanto region and Hokkaido.
