Newly established MVV (Mission, Vision, Values)

Our company has newly established MVV (Mission, Vision, Values).

This MVV was created after receiving a report from the BPR task force "Noroshi2123" (*1), a group of young members that was launched last year to mark the 100th anniversary of the company's founding, and through meetings attended by executives and employees at each site.

This MVV, which has been verbalized in simple terms, will enable the company and its employees to share the direction they want to go in and align their efforts toward growth over the next 100 years, thereby evolving into a company that contributes to society, attracts people, is supported by customers, and continues to grow sustainably.

Mission (Our reason for existence and social mission)

Bringing value to life.

Vision (what we want to be)

Designing a bright future for Japan through the power of ships and people

Values (the "values" that employees should share)

Curiosity

Each individual broadens their knowledge through new learning and acts on better ideas.

Co-Creativity

We will mutually recognize diverse personalities and opinions both inside and outside the company, innovate, and evolve together.

Agility

Quickly sense changes in society, formulate new hypotheses, and take on challenges quickly and decisively.

Ownership

Create an environment where everyone shares a sense of ownership over policies and results, and work together tenaciously.

(*1) The Business Process Transformation (BPR) Task Force was formed by young members who compiled business transformation measures in the areas of [Sales/Customer Service], [Marketing], [Corporate], and [Environment/Operations] and made recommendations to management, positioning it as a signal for the start of transformation aimed at achieving even greater heights in the company's next 100 years.
