New modal shift initiatives originating from Chubu

We have recently joined Daio Paper Co., Ltd. and Daio Logistics in their modal shift initiative between Chubu and Kyushu. This
initiative, which replaces part of the long-distance truck transport route with marine transport on our Tsuruga-Hakata route, will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the number of transport personnel required. As
part of our efforts to help solve the "2024 problem," we will continue to promote modal shift and strive to improve logistics efficiency.
