We will continue to hold employee training in Kuroshima, Okinawa in 2025
To mark its 100th anniversary, Kinkai Yusen
has donated the research vessel "AKARI" to the Kuroshima Research Institute of the NPO Sea Turtle Association of Japan as part of its environmental protection activities,
thereby supporting their activities.
In the meantime, in order to let our group employees know about the activities of the Kuroshima Laboratory and
deepen their understanding of environmental conservation activities
, we will be holding regular experiential training activities on Kuroshima Island in Okinawa Prefecture from 2023 onwards.
This year, 2025, we plan to hold two training sessions, one at the end of June and one at the end of October.
The last training participants were lucky enough to encounter a rare species of sea turtle called a hawksbill turtle.
What kind of training will this year be?
We will post a report on the training later on in this Kuroshima research report, so please take a look.
