safe transportation
On October 1, 2006, partial revisions to the Maritime Transportation Act and the Coastal Shipping Business Act came into effect, along with the introduction of a safety management system. This made it mandatory to implement a safety management system based on safety management regulations. Taking this opportunity, we have reviewed our safety management system and are working to ensure safe transportation.
Our Safety Policy
- All employees, including the CEO and managers, are strongly aware that safe operation is the best service we can provide to our customers, and we strive to ensure the safe and stable transportation of cargo.
- Safe operation can only be achieved through integrated operations between sea and land. We aim to achieve zero accidents by always maintaining good communication with shipowners and ship crews.
- We maintain a good safety management system by repeating the PDCA cycle of planning (PLAN), doing (DO), checking (CHECK), and reviewing and improving (ACT).
- We will comply with safety management regulations and all relevant laws and regulations related to ship operation.
- We must always keep in mind that accidents can creep up right under our feet even when no accidents have occurred, and we strive to operate with utmost caution.
- In the event of a natural disaster, safety will be our top priority, and we will ensure the safety of our sea and land employees, mitigate damage, and maintain the continuity of necessary transportation.
Specific safety initiatives
We formulate an annual activity plan and implement safety initiatives in accordance with this plan.
