Our domestic shipping business is only possible when supported by the ocean.
With the 100th anniversary of our founding in 2023, we hope that we can repay the favor of "to the beautiful seas of the future"?
In particular, while considering supporting domestic marine conservation activities, we decided to donate a research vessel (ship name: "AKARI") that conducts research activities on marine life including sea turtles to the Kuroshima Research Institute, affiliated by the NPO, Japan Sea Turtle Council, located on Kuroshima Island in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa Prefecture.

The Japan Sea Turtle Council, an NPO, is an organization established in 1990 that aims to conserve and research the ecosystem surrounding sea turtles. Kuroshima Research Institute strives to improve the health of marine ecosystems, including research and protection of marine life in the Yaeyama Islands region, display research results, and provide environmental education.
Our company will support the activities of Kuroshima Research Institute and the research vessel AKARI in the future.
