The Act on Special Measures for Countermeasures for New Influenza and Other Influenza (Act No. 31 of 2012) requires designated public institutions to take appropriate measures regarding the implementation of the project, and to continue their operations so that the impact on the lives of the people and the national economy even when new influenza and other events occurs is minimal. Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of this law, when performing its operations, designated public institutions are required to prepare a business plan for countermeasures against new influenza and other types, report it to the Prime Minister, and publish the summary. With this in mind, Kinkai Yusen Co., Ltd., a designated public institution, has established a "Promotion Plan for Countermeasures for New Influenza and Others," and the summary is as follows.

- Based on a pre-determined personnel plan, we will properly implement measures to combat new influenza and other types.
